Polytetraflouroethylene (TFE) and Kynar - PVDF are both on allocation.

PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene  products, PTFE (TFE) and Kynar-PVDF  manufacturing requires a mineral called Fluorspar that's mined in Mongolia and China. The world interest in this mineral has increased significantly, as well as the supply has tightened. PTFE materials have high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and very low co-efficient of friction (slippery) and is used within a bunch of purposes from non-stick fry cookware to ptfe tape for personal use. This specific mineral is the essential raw materials within the manufacturing of fluoropolymers, fluorolubricants and lots of refrigerants. This escalating demand joined together with shortage of raw materials has caused a dramatic price increase (almost double within the last year), shortages, and we expect these two factors to keep at it in the near future.
